How Miami Heat’s Twitter Reacted to the Win Against the Boston Celtics Monday Night

In this story:
No team in league history has blown a 3-0 series lead.
And that record remained Monday night. It took seven games but the Miami Heat officially eliminated the Boston Celtics to advance to the NBA Finals.

Jimmy Butler turned back into “Playoff Jimmy” after a three-game absence, ending with 28 points on 43 percent shooting. His guarantees for victory finally came to fruition after breaking out of his bad shooting. Although Butler led them to victory Monday, many fans endorsed Caleb Martin as the Eastern conference MVP after a 26-point performance to cap an outstanding series.

Despite the win, Bam Adebayo was not exempt from criticism. He went 4 of 10 for 12 points and four turnovers, continuing the narrative of not showing up in the postseason.

Thankfully, Adebayo didn’t get nearly as much heat as Jaylen Brown, who had eight turnovers while shooting 11 percent from 3-point range. Brown underperformed this series, and Monday may be the nail in the coffin for his time in Boston.
