Miami Heat Superstar Jimmy Butler Draws Comparison To Marvel’s Black Widow

In this story:
Perhaps the most enticing part of Miami Heat superstar Jimmy Butler’s style is his ability to play alongside almost anyone while relying on his talent and hard work.
This style of play is considered uncommon in today’s league, leading to Butler receiving a few very interesting comparisons. The latest comes from The Athletic, which compares a potential Team USA roster to Marvel’s Avengers.
Butler was likened to Black Widow, who is one of the original six Avengers. Black Widow is a heroine who attacks with a physical style, relying solely on herself and the skills she has been taught. The Athletic gave the following description: "Team USA needs a stopper to throw off hot opponents. He’ll set a physical tone." This is quite an accurate depiction of Butler, as he is one of the most impactful postseason players who is not afraid to use his body to his advantage.
The rest of the roster’s comparisons were as follows: Stephen Curry to Captain America, Devin Booker to Hawkeye, Kevin Durant to Thor, LeBron James to Iron Man, Anthony Davis to Groot, Damian Lillard to Black Panther, De’Aaron Fox to Quicksilver, Anthony Edwards to Spider-Man, Jayson Tatum to Winter Soldier, Draymond Green to Hulk, and Joel Embiid to Thanos.
With rumors flying all offseason about Lillard being traded to the Heat, fans may get to see Black Widow and Black Panther team up in Miami next season.
This USA company would be viewed as one of the most dominant in history, including a multitude of first-ballot Hall of Famers. Following the disappointing fourth-place finish in the FIBA World Cup, this team-up could reflect Marvel's Infinity War and Endgame movies.
