The Miami Heat were defeated 102-97 by the Chicago Bulls on Saturday evening.

This loss ended their seven-game winning streak.

The Heat got off to a blazing start, leading by 19 points midway through the first quarter. However, in the second half, both teams went back and forth, claiming the upper hand.

Near the end of the third quarter, Miami held an eight-point lead. A highlight play by forward Caleb Martin gave them momentum entering the final quarter.

All-Star big man Bam Adebayo sent a pass to a cutting Jaime Jaquez Jr. The rookie dished the ball to guard Josh Richardson while still in the air. Richardson swung the ball to Martin, who immediately attacked the paint. Jaquez looked for the ball, but Martin had other plans, throwing down a monster dunk.

Martin finished the game with five points and two rebounds on 2 of 9 shooting. However, his dunk provided the Heat with much-needed momentum late in the game.

Stars Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo picked up for the off-nights of their teammates. Adebayo recorded 24 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists. Meanwhile, Butler wrapped up the night with 25 points on 50 percent shooting.

The Heat are seeking a win on Monday in their rematch against the Bulls.
