The 26-year-old big man was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played between Monday, Jan. 8, and Sunday, Jan. 14. This marks the second time in Adebayo's career that he has received the award.
In this frame, the Heat were led to a 3-1 record by the two-time All-Star center. He averaged 23 points, 11 rebounds, and 5.8 assists on 56.5 percent shooting. His defensive contributions were displayed at a high level, as he averaged one block. He tallied a double-double in each of the four contests.
Not to mention, Adebayo is the third Heat player to have a 20-point, 10-rebound streak of at least five games, alongside superstars Shaquille O'Neal and LeBron James. He is the lone player to accomplish this feat on multiple occasions.

Adebayo has shown the most consistency of their Big Three through 39 matchups, missing less than a dozen games. Meanwhile, stars Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro have been sidelined for a combined 34 games. He is a key reason for Miami's position in the East (No. 5 seed) with a 23-16 record.
He will look to continue his dominant year on Monday evening against the Brooklyn Nets.
