Miami Heat's Jimmy Butler Losing Big Bucks Because Of One-Game Suspension

In this story:
Jimmy Butler is the biggest loser of cash among the five players suspended by the NBA for their roles in an on-court altercation during Friday's Miami Heat-New Orleans game.
Butler, teammate Nikola Jovic and Pelicans guard Naji Marshall were all suspended for one game while Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado and Heat reserve Thomas Bryant will miss three games for leaving the bench.
Butler loses the most money because he has the biggest salary. The fine for his actions is nearly $260,000.
The incident began when Heat center Kevin Love committed a foul on New Orleans’ Zion Williamson with 11:19 remaining in the fourth quarter. Following that foul, Butler and Marshall engaged in a physical altercation, and then Alvarado and Bryant began fighting. For their roles, Alvarado, Bryant, Butler, and Marshall were assessed technical fouls and ejected from the game.
The Heat face the Sacramento Kings tonight without their best player in Butler and Jokic, a key reserve. It could lead to big loss unless Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro carry the load. There is also chance of guard Terry Rozier return to the lineup. He is listed as questionable after missing the last three games because of a knee injury.
