Miami Heat's Max Strus Has Corey Brewer-like First Half With 23 Points Against Chicago Bulls

In this story:
If the first half was any indication, Miami Heat guard Max Strus is going to get drug-tested by NBA after the game for scoring 23 points.
Strus had an opening half that helped the Heat to a 49-44 lead. The performance reminiscent to when former Minnesota Timberwolves forward Corey Brewer was actually tested after he scored 51 points against the Houston Rockets in 2014. The performance is among the most legendary from a role player.

The NBA made Corey Brewer take a "random" drug test after he put up 51 PTS (19/30 FG) & 6 STL vs the Houston Rockets.

Strus was 6 of 9 from the field, with all of his baskets coming from the 3-point line. He was also 5 of 5 from the free throw line. Strus' effort came after Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said he was considering shaking up the starting lineup.
Instead, Spoelstra kept the same starters, including Strus. The Heat are now just one half from qualifying for the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
They would play the top-seed Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday.
