Minnesota Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards Has Bested LeBron James, Michael Jordan In One Category ... For Now

In this story:
Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards played arguably the best game of his short postseason career for one reason.
He wanted to avoid the label of being swept in the playoffs, so Edwards scored 34 points to lead the Timberwolves to a Game 4 victory against the top-seeded Denver Nuggets.
"I don't ever want to say I got swept in my career," Edwards said. "So I definitely took it personally tonight."
With Sunday's win, Edwards can at least say he has never been swept unlike some of the game's all-time greats. Even Michael Jordan and LeBron James, widely considered the greatest two players in NBA history, were on the losing end of a "skunk."
James was twice swept in the NBA Finals when he played with the Cleveland Cavaliers. In 2007, he lost 4-0 to the San Antonio Spurs and suffered the same fate against the Golden State Warriors in 2018.
When Jordan played for the Chicago Bulls, he was swept in the first round in 1986 and 1987 by the Boston Celtics.
But Edwards, only in his third season, has a long way to go to remain out of the swept club. He also is years from accomplishing the combined 10 championships James and Jordan have won.
