Should Re-Signing Free Agents Max Strus and Gabe Vincent Be At Top Of Miami Heat’s Priorities?

In this story:
The Miami Heat have many key decisions to make this offseason after the NBA Finals loss to the Denver Nuggets.
They include deciding whether to give a pay raise to unrestricted free agents Max Strus and Gabe Vincent.
Along with this decision, the Heat have already been linked to Kyrie Irving, Zach LaVine, Damian Lillard and Bradley Beal as trade targets during free agency. Trading for an All-Star could lead to the departure of Strus or Vincent, perhaps both.
Strus and Vincent, who were undrafted, could be valuable trade bait. They were both solid contributors during the regular season but greatly elevated their play in the postseason. Both were crucial in the playoffs against the Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks, and Boston Celtics.
If the Heat want to re-sign both starters, they would be forced into the luxury tax with Strus making roughly $11 million dollars per year and Vincent $12 million on their new contracts.
Reaching the NBA Finals without the team's third-leading scorer, Tyler Herro shows promise to go into next year with a similar roster. This should be enough motive for the Heat to sign both free agents to similar contracts this summer.
