Lionel Messi Scores Winning Goal In South Florida Debut In Front Of LeBron James

In this story:
Last night, Messi made his debut for Inter Miami CF against Cruz Azul in the Leagues Cup.
Although he did not start the game, his impact was surely felt.
In the 93rd minute, the score was tied at one. Messi was fouled, giving him a direct free kick from just outside the 18-yard box. Messi scored with an impressive shot going to the top left. Miami closed out the game, winning two-to-one.

Before the game, he met with two-time Miami Heat champion LeBron James. James played for the Heat from 2010–2014.
James’ debut for Miami against the Boston Celtics had incredible hype surrounding it, just like Messi’s. He scored 31 points and had four assists on 47.6 percent shooting from the field and 50 percent from beyond the arc. The Heat could not get the job done, losing 88-80.
