Thrilling 3-Team Trade Proposal Sends Game-Changing Guard to Kings

In this story:
The NBA had a dramatic start to the season as G James Harden was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers from the Philadelphia 76ers. Since the Halloween blockbuster, trade talks around the league have been quiet. It could be time to begin speculating on the next substantial move.
The Sacramento Kings have been involved in many trade rumors recently, primarily around names such as Toronto Raptors duo F OG Anunoby and F Pascal Siakam.
The Kings have had a reasonable start to their 2023-24 season with nine wins through their first 15 games. The emergence of G De'Aaron Fox and C Domantas Sabonis as rising NBA superstars has been vital to their success. Building around their All-Star duo, Sacramento has the flexibility to make some moves.
While they might not go out and get Anunoby or Siakam from the Raptors, the Kings can get a difference-maker in G Alex Caruso from the Chicago Bulls. Here is a three-team involving the Kings, Bulls, and Orlando Magic that could take Sacramento and Orlando to the next level while helping Chicago blow it up:
Sacramento Kings receive: Alex Caruso, Jonathan Isaac
Chicago Bulls receive: Davion Mitchell, ORL 2027 first-round pick (top-10 protected)
Orlando Magic: Kevin Huerter
The Kings letting go of G Davion Mitchell and G Kevin Huerter is not ideal, but Mitchell has been underperforming this season as he lost his spot in the rotation due to the emergence of two-way G Keon Ellis. Mitchell, 25, is a young option for Chicago to add to their young guard depth.
The Magic have had a spectacular season thus far, winning 12 of their first 17. They have risen to be one of the most impressive defensive teams in the league, but adding a shooter in Huerter could take them to the next level as contenders.
Magic's F Jonathan Isaac has fallen to the 12th man in their rotation, but the 26-year-old defensive wing could be valuable to Sacramento's frontcourt depth. Giving up Isaac and a future first-round pick should be worth getting a sharpshooter Huerter in return.
The Bulls have opened their season 5-13 and should be ready to blow it up and rebuild. Caruso, 29, will not fit into their timeline, as they should look to move him for more valuable assets.
Huerter could be a costly loss for Sacramento, but getting a defensive-minded guard in return could also take the Kings to the next level. Isaac and Caruso could both take their games to the next level in Sacramento's system while improving the Kings' defense substantially.
