WATCH: Kris Pursiainen's Knicks Draft Board

This year's draft class may not be the strongest, but it doesn't mean the Knicks don't still have an incredibly tough decision to make in terms of how they'll navigate the lottery. See the draft's top prospects ranked for Leon Rose & Co. here.

The 2020 NBA Draft is widely viewed as a "weak" draft class. Leon Rose said himself that the draft has a couple of standouts (presumably Ball and Edwards), and then provides "a lot of equality"

The Knicks have the biggest need at point guard, but this shouldn't stop them from simply taking the best player available in the lottery when they are making their selection; the team is not currently in a position to be "picky" about what talent it wants, considering that it is generally devoid of it. The one position I did majorly de-value is center, as the team already has Mitchell Robinson to fulfill the role of a non-shooting, rim-running, shot-blocker.

Below are the names of the top ten prospects the Knicks should be considering in the lottery, along with the team for which they have most recently played and what I project their NBA role will be.

1. LaMelo Ball, Primary Playmaker, Illawarra Hawks

2. Killian Hayes, Primary Playmaker, Ratiopharm Ulm

3. Anthony Edwards, Scoring Guard, Georgia

4. Deni Avdija, Playmaking Forward, Maccabi Tel Aviv

5. Isaac Okoro, Versatile Defensive Wing, Auburn

6. Devin Vassell, 3&D Wing, Florida State

7. Kira Lewis Jr., Primary Playmaker, Alabama

8. Aleksej Pokuševski, Stretch Big, Olympiacos Piraeus

9. Cole Anthony, Scoring Guard, North Carolina

10. Onyeka Okongwu, Modern Center, USC
