Former Lakers Wing Generating Tons of Interest on Free Agent Market

In this story:
The Los Angeles Lakers already look significantly different on paper compared to last year's squad... even after all the moves they made at the trade deadline. The good news is that the three biggest names they needed to retain in Austin Reaves, D'Angelo Russell and Rui Hachimura all came back on great deals. However, in order to fill out the rest of the roster, LA was unable to hold on to both Mo Bamba and Malik Beasley with the money they were going to make.
It will be very interesting to see if Bamba returns on a smaller deal considering how dry the big man market is at this point outside of Christian Wood and seeing that he was still working out at the practice facility around the time he was waived. However, Beasley's situation will be a lot more interesting.

Even though his production dropped mightily once he got to LA and he fell out of Darvin Ham's rotation, Beasley has a long reputation of being a solid spot-up shooter in the NBA. Therefore, with him being a free agent and not necessarily having a lot to show on his resume this past year, his value shouldn't be crazy and he can still help a team looking to compete.
So it shouldn't be too surprising that USA Today Sports' Erik Williams reported that about six franchises may be looking to sign the 26-year-old wing.
"Lakers free agent guard
Malik Beasley
has drawn interest from the Sixers, Suns, Raptors, Mavericks, Bucks, and Warriors, league sources told HoopsHype. Beasley led the NBA in three-pointers made off the bench last season and is a career 37.8 percent shooter from beyond the arc."

Wherever Beasley does end up, he will be inserted into the rotation once again immediately. There have been rumors of him potentially coming back to the Lakers on a smaller deal but I don't see that happening due to their wing depth and current need for a big man.
