The NBA world certainly certainly had a good laugh during the second quarter of the Lakers' Game 2 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Thursday. LeBron James went for a classic breakaway dunk only to have the ball slip out of his hands before he could finish it.

Take a look for yourself if you haven't already.

However, I think that once enough fans got their jokes off, they began to realize that this is not very characteristic of James. Even though this was not a must-win game for LA, it certainly would've helped to tie up the series heading back to Crypto.com Arena and we all thought James' attention to detail would be at an all-time high.

The questionable three at the end of game one raised enough questions already as LeBron could've easily drove in on the smaller Jamal Murray but his follow-up performance now has many mulling over whether all the miles are finally taking a toll on The King.

Both the Nuggets and the Lakers were visibly exhausted by the time the fourth quarter rolled around but the difference was that Jamal Murray was able to pour in 23 of his 37 points in that period and will Denver to the win.

On the other hand, James missed more easy shots down the stretch and lost their poise completely.

Even though many fans and analysts have learned throughout the years that it's not smart to bet against the future Hall of Famer when his back is against the wall, ESPN's Alan Hahn believes that those days are over.

"LeBron James' battery is drained," said Han. "It's like an old iPhone. When you plug it in and try to charge it up, it never gets back to 100 percent."

All eyes will be on The King to respond in these next two home games and I have a feeling he has something special on the way for us.
