In this story:

1. MICHAEL CARTER-WILLIAMS RE-SIGNS WITH MAGIC

"By bringing Carter-Williams into the fold, the Magic adds another veteran and someone familiar with many currently on the team. He's also now the oldest member of the team after Terrence Ross was bought out and subsequently signed with Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns."

2. GOGA BITADZE 'REALLY GOOD' IN MAGIC DEBUT

"I thought he was really good," head coach Jamahl Mosley said. "I thought his energy was good. I thought his toughness, obviously, going against his old team, his confidence level was great... I think just giving him a look, I thought was really good and I thought he performed well in that role."

3. 'CHAOS ENGINE' JALEN SUGGS

"As Suggs searches for his jumper and some defining role, he has contributed to the Orlando Magic -- 20-15 in their last 35 games -- as something of a chaos engine," ESPN writes. "He throws himself into rebounding frays, rushes up the floor in transition, and defends hard at both guard positions.

4. DAME DROPS 71

Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard scored a career-high 71 points and 13 threes in Sunday night's 131-114 win against the Houston Rockets.

Lillard scored 41 of those points in the first half and became the eighth player in NBA history to drop 70 or more in a game.

Lillard joins Donovan Mitchell as the second player this season to reach 70 in a game.

5. NEXT MAGIC GAME

The Magic will return to the court tonight at home against the New Orleans Pelicans at 8:00 p.m. You can watch in-market on Bally Sports Florida or out-of-market on NBA League Pass.
