Kevin Durant Reacts to Nuggets Eliminating Suns in Game 6

In this story:
The Phoenix Suns suffered a blowout loss to the Denver Nuggets in Game 6, as another season ended in disappointment. Having traded for Kevin Durant earlier this season, the Suns expected a deep playoff run. With that not happening, Durant shared his reaction to what he called an "embarrassing" elimination game.
"It was a bad feeling," Durant said. "It was embarrassing. They came out and got us in the mouth and we couldn't recover." On the outlook going forward, Durant said, "We just got to be better next year. It's hard right now to see what the future will hold for our team, but we got a good foundation, good infrastructure we can build on and move on from this, and learn from it and get better from it. I'm sure as the summer and offseason starts, we'll figure that out a little bit more."
On how the Suns can improve, Durant said, "We need to understand each other on a different level individually and as basketball players, and I think that will come. So we'll see what happens. Definitely frustrating and disappointing and embarrassing."
The Suns are clearly far from where they need to be, and will have to answer a lot of questions this summer. The addition of Durant was supposed to take them to the next level, but they instead suffered a nearly identical elimination to last year.
