The Denver Nuggets are looking to stay hot when they take on the Houston Rockets on Sunday, as the defending champions enter this matchup with the best record in basketball. The Nuggets have released their injury report for this game, and superstar center Nikola Jokic is not listed, meaning he will be available to play.

As previously mentioned, the Nuggets have again been the best team in basketball to start the season after being dominant all of last year. That said, the Rockets are off to a great start themselves after making some offseason moves, and will look to give Denver a tough game.

Jokic has also gotten off to a great start to the new season, once again breaking records on seemingly a nightly basis. Without Jamal Murray for the foreseeable future, the Nuggets will have to rely even more on the reigning Finals MVP. Jokic is more than capable of taking on these responsibilities, as he has proven throughout the last several seasons.

The Nuggets have began this season on a mission to stay hot after a historically great postseason run that saw them bring home their first championship in franchise history. Looking to defend that title with another one this season, the Nuggets certainly look like the team to beat to begin the year.

The Nuggets and Rockets will tip-off at 4:00 PM PST.
