Tyler Herro's Injury Status for Heat vs. Nuggets Game 4 Revealed

Down 2-1 in the NBA Finals, the Miami Heat have officially ruled Tyler Herro out for Game 4. There have been several reports about the possibility of Herro making a return at some point in this series, but that return will not be coming in Game 4, as the team has officially ruled the scoring guard out.

Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra has been vocal about now knowing where some of these reports have been coming from in regards to Herro's potential return. There were reports that said Game 2 was a possibility, and that Game 3 was a likelihood, but the series is now approaching Game 4, and Herro is still not cleared to return.

While Herro is not yet ready to return, the scoring guard has been getting on-court work in before games and in practices. While there is no real indication on how close he is to potentially returning, it does seem as if Herro is making positive progress towards a return.

The Heat are two games from elimination, and will look to protect their home court in Game 4 to avoid facing elimination in Denver in Game 5. The Nuggets certainly understand the opportunity that is in front of them, and will look to take care of business in Game 4 in Miami.

For the Heat, they will have to go to battle again without Herro.
