The Pacers travel to Atlanta for In-Season Tournament action tonight

The Indiana Pacers are on the road taking on the Atlanta Hawks tonight. It's the first meeting between the two teams this season, though Indiana did beat Atlanta 116-112 during the preseason.

It's also an In-Season Tournament game, and the Pacers can clinch Eastern Conference Group A with a victory. "They're playing well," Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle said of the Hawks on Monday. He highlighted Atlanta's backcourt as a challenge.

Pacers vs Hawks Injury Report

For the Pacers, Andrew Nembhard (lower back soreness) is questionable. Their two-way contract players — Oscar Tshiebwe, Kendall Brown, and Isaiah Wong — are listed as questionable due to their contract status. Their G League season began last week.

For the Hawks, Kobe Bufkin, Mouhamed Gueye, Seth Lundy, and Miles Norris are out.

Key Matchup

Tyrese Haliburton vs Trae Young: Two All-Star talents will face off at the point guard position tonight. Both players are averaging a double-double with their scoring and assist numbers.

Young is better at getting to the foul line than Haliburton, but Haliburton has been a better play finisher this season. They are both brilliant offensive talents, and whoever prevails in their individual matchup could swing the game — though they likely won't be guarding each other often.
