Pacers vs Heat Injury Report

The Pacers listed center Jalen Smith as out with a left knee bone bruise and left heel contusion. T.J. McConnell (right hamstring soreness) and Isaiah Jackson (upper respiratory infection) are listed as questionable. Kendall Brown, Isaiah Wong, and Oscar Tshiebwe are listed as questionable as a part of their two-way contract status. Tshiebwe is with the team for this trip due to Smith's injury.

The Heat, meanwhile, listed R.J. Hampton, Tyler Herro, and Dru Smith as out. Jimmy Butler and Haywood Highsmith are questionable while Bam Adebayo and Duncan Robinson are probable.

Key Matchup

Tyrese Haliburton vs Kyle Lowry: Haliburton had one of his best games (43 points and a game-winning shot) and worst games (one point on 0/9 shooting) against the Heat last year. The Pacers were 2-0 against Miami in 2022-23 when their star point guard reached 20 points and 0-2 otherwise.

Haliburton's success is typically important for the blue and gold, and tonight, that is even more so the case. He will go against Kyle Lowry, a tough, physical player who has won a championship before. Haliburton needs to dominate this matchup.
