Raptors Injury Updates For Dalano Banton, Gary Trent Jr., Pascal Siakam, and Otto Porter Jr.

Dalano Banton appears to have avoided the worst-case scenario after suffering an ankle injury on Wednesday, but the 23-year-old guard is expected to miss some time, Toronto Raptors coach Nick Nurse said Friday.
There was no damage in the ankle, Nurse added, and "it shouldn't be too, too long" before Banton is back. He will, however, miss Saturday's game against the Atlanta Hawks.
As for the rest of the team, Gary Trent Jr. will not travel to Atlanta. He is battling a hip injury and a non-COVID illness that has kept him sidelined for the past two games. He remains day-to-day.
Pascal Siakam resumed on-court activities, Nurse said. There's no official update for now, though the injury is a Grade 2 sprain in his right adductor, Nurse said. Expect an update on Siakam's status at some point next week.
Otto Porter Jr. was seen walking around Raptors practice in a medical walking boot. He is expected to remain out with a dislocated toe. He has played in just eight games this season following the birth of a child and a hamstring injury.
There was no further information on Precious Achiuwa's ankle sprain. He was seen getting treatment and working with the team's medical personnel.
Juancho Hernangomez seems the most likely candidate to start for the Raptors on Saturday alongside Fred VanVleet, Scottie Barnes, O.G. Anunoby, and Thad Young.
