The Houston Rockets are on the right side of a coin flip once again.

Today, the NBA broke the ties based on records, including one between the San Antonio Spurs and Rockets.

According to Khobi Price of the Orlando Sentinel, the NBA flipped a coin and the Rockets are officially the No. 2 team while the Spurs are No. 3.

While this doesn't affect the odds for the top overall selection, it does change the specific floors for the two teams.

As the team on the No. 2 track, the Rockets have 14 percent odds for No. 1, 13.4 for No. 2, 12.7 for No. 3, 12 for No. 4, 27.8 for No. 5 and 20 for No. 6.

As the team on the No. 3 track, the Spurs have 14 percent odds for No. 1, 13.4 for No. 2, 12.7 for No. 3, 12 for No. 4, 14.8 for No. 5, 26 for No. 6 and seven percent for the No. 7 selection.

In other news, the Los Angeles Clippers lost their tiebreaker to the Miami Heat and Golden State Warriors, giving them the No. 20 pick in the draft. That pick will be conveyed to Houston as part of the pick swap between the Milwaukee Bucks and Clippers.

So today's win for the Rockets likely won't have a huge effect on the final result, but there's a slight chance it could ... and with generational talent Victor Wembanyama as the No. 1 pick, it could change the course of NBA history.

The NBA Draft Lottery is set to take place on Tuesday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m.
