Spurs at Rockets GAMEDAY Preview: How To Watch, Injury Report, Betting Odds

The San Antonio Spurs face the Houston Rockets at the Toyota center on Sunday evening. On a second night of a back-to-back matchup against the Rockets, the Spurs look to avenge their Saturday night loss.

Winning is rare in San Antonio these days, and the Houston Rockets attaining victory in their first matchup in six games against the San Antonio Spurs paints the perfect picture of the Gregg Popovich-led team's rebuilding season.

The San Antonio Spurs' two-game winning streak seemingly lasted as long as a Chick-Fil-A drive-through wait time. On the other end, the Rockets snapped their 11-game losing streak, looking for another shot at the Spurs on Sunday evening at the Toyota Center.

While the Spurs are a better-coached team, injuries continue to spoil the hard-working unit's chances of victory on a nightly basis. The Spurs' best player missed Saturday's contest due to a foot injury.

On the Rockets' end, though, eight players scored in double-digit figures, with rookie Tari Eason leading the team with 20 points off the bench. Devonte' Graham's 28-point point performance needed support, but none of his teammates rose to the occasion. It's still in the air if Keldon Johnson suits up for the road game. While Graham's production is a bonus, Johnson is the heartbeat of the Spurs. Without him in the rotation, winning seems like a distant possibility.

Furthermore, if Johnson doesn't suit up on Saturday night, consider the Spurs fit for another loss to the inferior Rockets.
