Spurs Rookie Jeremy Sochan Reveals Thoughts on Kris Dunn Foul

In this story:
San Antonio Spurs forward Jeremy Sochan prides himself on his toughness.
Despite his rookie status, Sochan is trying to prove to the rest of the NBA that he isn't someone who should be tossed around.
That was evident in last night's loss against the Utah Jazz, where Sochan got caught in a brief shoving match with Kris Dunn.

Both players stayed in the game, and Sochan spoke with reporters after about the moment with Dunn.
“It was fair enough, the foul," Sochan said via San Antonio Express-News. "I felt like he kept holding me after the foul. I kind of just pushed him off, because there’s no point of holding me.”
Sochan finished the game with a team-high 22 points, but was unable to beat Dunn and the Jazz.
Dunn, who's currently on a 10-day contract with the Jazz, scored 15 points, dished out eight assists and grabbed seven rebounds in the win. Dunn's 15 points were the most he's scored in a game since Dec. 8, 2019 when he was playing with the Chicago Bulls.
Sochan, looking to snap the Spurs' losing streak, and Dunn, looking to play for a second contract, both had something to prove. And the extra bit of edge is probably something both teams appreciated during the game.
Sochan and Dunn will meet again for a rematch Tuesday. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m.
