Gambo: JaVale McGee Seeking Multi-Year Deal

In this story:
NBA free agency is nearly here, and the Phoenix Suns find themselves as the talk of the league thanks to center Deandre Ayton.
Ayton, expected to command a max deal, will have a few suitors across the league despite his status as an unrestricted free agent. The Suns aren't expected to be one of them.
Talk around Phoenix's former No. 1 pick has been constant, yet one their supplemental big men in JaVale McGee also is set to enter free agency.
Arizona Sports' John Gambadoro reports that the 34-year-old center is in search of a multi-year deal.
Hearing Javale McGee wants a multi-year deal and has several teams interested - Milwaukee, Dallas, Brooklyn. Not sure if Phoenix would go two years. Miami has emerged as the favorite for Jae Crowder.

Gambadoro also included possible teams such as the Milwaukee Bucks, Dallas Mavericks and Brooklyn Nets as potential teams interested in McGee.
Last season, McGee played in 74 games for the Suns, averaging 9.2 points and 6.7 rebounds per game in just under 16 minutes played.
When asked about his future with the Suns, McGee said he would be open to returning:
"Definitely a team on my list (the Suns) and I would love to be back," said McGee. "You know how the offseason goes. You never know what can happen. Trades, signings. But yeah, I'm definitely open to it."
McGee made $5 million last season with Phoenix. Gambadoro says he isn't sure if the Suns would want to ink McGee to a multi-year deal.
Free agency is set to begin Thursday, July 29 at 6:00 p.m. ET.
