Phoenix Suns Officially Clinch Playoff Spot

In this story:
The Phoenix Suns have officially clinched a playoff spot after last night's 115-94 win over the San Antonio Spurs.
The win marked Phoenix's sixth consecutive victory, the longest such current streak in the league. They're also now 7-0 with Kevin Durant on the floor.
The Suns actually ensured they would at least participate in the play-in tournament over the weekend, but last night's win secured a top-six spot and would be able to enjoy the play-in from home.
Thus far, the Denver Nuggets are enjoying a two-game lead atop the Western Conference. The Suns host them on Thursday.
Behind them are the Memphis Grizzlies, who hold their own two-game advantage over the Sacramento Kings. The Kings ensured the Suns couldn't climb to the No. 3 seed with their win over the New Orleans Pelicans, which gave them their first division title in 20 years.
Phoenix owns the No. 4 seed, which is their most likely spot in the postseason with just three games remaining in the regular season.
The Suns hope to make good on their talent, something they've yet to do in previous years. Their 2021 NBA Finals trip was horrendously followed by an early (and embarrassing exit) to the Dallas Mavericks last postseason.
Yet there's a new hope for Phoenix to make another deep playoff push. When it comes to first-round opponents, the Suns are probable to face either the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers or Los Angeles Lakers.
Phoenix has three games left in the regular season, facing the Nuggets, Lakers and Clippers before the playoffs begin on April 15.
