You can always count on Steven Adams to give you an honest answer. Monday, during the Thunder media availability, I asked Adams to share his perspective on life in the bubble.

Here is what Adams had to say.

"Let's be clear mate."..."This is not Syria mate."..."We're living in a bloody resort."

"Everyone's gonna complain  everyone has their own preferences mate."...."It's not anything too serious, it's a bit of dry food here and there, get bored every now and then, it's all good man."

"It's actually pretty cool because you get to interact with the other teams (players on the other teams) so that's been pretty cool."

Adams did not get specific on which players on what teams he was getting to interact with, but the Thunder are bunking in the Grand Floridian along with Pacers, 76ers, Mavericks, Rockets, Grizzlies, Magic and what's left of the Nets. If there has been any bellyaching about the accommodations, the Thunder is keeping it under wraps.

Billy Donovan says:

"I give them a lot of credit it's not like there's been a lot of complaining or whining or any of that stuff."..."These guys have been total pros and they've handled themselves I think with great class and they've really understood practicing the protocols the NBA has put in place to keep everybody safe."

Adams is celebrating his 27th birthday on Monday, although technically his actual "born day" was Sunday in his home country of New Zeland. Adams did "absolutely nothing" yesterday, and today he "Might just play a bit of chess, have a feed, go by the pool, do a bit of study and that's it."

No matter what the conditions are, Steven Adams continues to live his best life.
