Injury Report, Updated Odds (1/18): Oklahoma City Thunder at Utah Jazz

After dropping two straight games in a back-to-back in Los Angeles, the Oklahoma City Thunder looks to snap a second two-game skid in January. They do so as they travel to Utah to take on a Jazz team that has found its groove as of late.

The Thunder has taken a hit in their record on the road as of late, losing four road games in January. They're now 11-8 on the road and playing a Jazz team that thrives on their home floor with a 15-5 record at their place.

This will be yet another challenge for the Thunder, who still sits at No. 2 in the Western Conference despite the two straight losses.

Injury Report

Thunder:

Lu Dort, OUT (Illness)

Ousmane Dieng, OUT (Illness)

Keyontae Johnson, Available (Illness)

Tre Mann, Available (Illness)

Jazz:

Taylor Hendricks, Available (G League)

Johnny Juzang, OUT (G League)

Micah Potter, OUT (G League)

Jason Preston, OUT (G League)

Brice Sensabaugh, Available (G League)

There seems to be an apparent illness or bug traveling around the team. Four different guys are questionable with illness, but Dort would be the only starter impacted if he can't go tonight. Other than that, the injury report is clean for the Thunder. Still, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is being bothered by a lingering injury. Until he completely heals from that, the offense is going to struggle to find its rhythm behind its superstar.

For the Jazz, there are no real injuries -- just G League designations and two-way guys -- meaning they'll have all of their core players.

Updated Odds

As mentioned, the Jazz are not the same team that the Thunder defeated by 14 points last time around. They're 9-1 in their last ten games and have won six straight games. As mentioned, they're also an incredible team in their home arena.

Still, the Thunder is a 3.5-point favorite despite the form of the Jazz and being on the road. They're the better, more talented team, but they'll need Gilgeous-Alexander playing in his regular form and for Chet Holmgren to step up in a big way to support Jalen Williams.

A win would be huge for the Thunder as they've got two more games before they return to Oklahoma City.
