The Oklahoma City Thunder (37-17) are off to a fantastic start this season. With just 28 games left, the OKC Thunder have once again exceeded expectations based on their preseason predictions.

Sitting in the driver's seat to host a first-round playoff series (4.5 games up on the fifth seed), the Thunder are jockeying for the best record in the Western Conference.

In their first game back from the All-Star Break, Oklahoma City will welcome the L.A. Clippers into town for a top-three in the west showdown.

Despite the early season success, one of the youngest teams in the NBA continues to show their uncommon maturity levels by saying all the right things. The messaging from their five All-Star Weekend representatives was simple, "Job's not finished," and that has carried over to Thursday.

At shoot around on Thursday morning, rookie guard Cason Wallace described the team as "Locked in," on the heels of Mark Daigneault's glowing reviews for the team's first practice out of the break on Wednesday.

As the NBA world continue to heap praise on the Thunder, they are in no danger of "reading their press clippings" instead, they are out to prove this season has been no fluke.

It starts with the first five games out of the break, where Oklahoma City can continue to make a statement hosting the Clippers and Wizards in a back-to-back before playing the Rockets twice, and Spurs. The Thunder should leave these five games with at least three wins to spark the home stretch of the season.
