Thunder Gameday: Wrapping Up in Salt Lake City Against 76ers

Oklahoma City will take on Philadelphia in its third and final game of Salt Lake City’s summer league.

To this point in Salt Lake City, the Oklahoma City Thunder have split their two contests but have an opportunity to finish with a winning record tonight. After beating the Utah Jazz and losing to the Memphis Grizzlies, Oklahoma City’s final contest before heading to Las Vegas will be against the Philadelphia 76ers tonight.

What do the Thunder need to do in order to finish this three-game stint strong?

KEYS TO THE GAME:

Depending on whether or not Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren play, this Thunder team could look very different. With Oklahoma City’s next game being on Friday, and today’s game being on the second night of a back-to-back, it wouldn’t be surprising to see both of them sit in this contest.

Either way, Tre Mann has been a lethal scorer for the Thunder this week through two games. He’s been one of the best players in Salt Lake City which is huge for his confidence entering his third NBA season.

Philadelphia boats a variety of quality guards in Terquavion Smith, Jaden Springer and Ricky Council. The Sixers’ summer league squad is undersized, but can score in a hurry. The Thunder will need to leverage their positional size in this matchup.
