Thunder-Raptors: OKC Routs Toronto

In this story:
The Oklahoma City Thunder (4-7) are set to face the Toronto Raptors (7-5) Friday night in a what is sure to be a battle of unusual, eccentric lineups.
Toronto native Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will look to continue his hot start to the year against a Pascal Siakam-less Raptors squad trying to continue its winning ways until their star’s return.

4Q: Thunder 132, Raptors 113
Oklahoma City didn’t slow down in the fourth en route to routing the Raptors.
Second unit players like Williams, Omoruyi and Tre Mann continued to apply pressure, and Toronto struggled to manufacture any offense.
Seven Thunder played finished in double-digits, and the team shot over 50 percent from the field for the first time all season.
3Q: Thunder 106, Raptors 85
Oklahoma City continued to pour it on into the third quarter, with Pokusevski doing the brunt of the work. He started out the quarter with a four-point play, and saw his fourth and fifth blocks as well.
Toronto struggled rotationally and finding offense in the half court early. They started to mesh better as the quarter went on, with OG Anunoby and Gary Trent Jr. finding their rhythm, but couldn’t cut into the lead.
OKC would extend their lead to as much as 23 in the quarter. Gilgeous-Alexander leads all scorers in the game with 20 points, followed by Omoruyi with 16.
2Q: Thunder 70, Raptors 56
Oklahoma City continues to extend its lead, with rookie Jalen Williams giving good minutes. A Tre Mann steal-and-score that made the contest 42-32 forced another Raptors timeout.
Raptor’s forward Chris Boucher would cut into the lead with four straight points, but OKC role players would continue to pour on points.
Fred VanVleet, who leads all Raptors in the game with 12 points, saw a late three just before halftime to cut the lead to 16.
Oklahoma City saw four players get into double-digits and two more finish with more than seven, all before half. Dort, Gilgeous-Alexander and Omoruyi all finished with 11. Pokusevski finished with eight and Aaron Wiggins with seven.
As a team, OKC shot 65 percent from the floor and 46 percent from beyond the arc to take a 70-56 lead into the break.
1Q: Thunder 29, Raptors 24
Oklahoma City jumped out to an early lead off a Gilgeous-Alexander steal-and-score, and kept their foot on the gas.
Dort scored a quick five points, Aleksej Pokusevski found a pair of blocks to go alongside his solid drop coverage, and OKC found itself with an 11-8 lead just before a Toronto timeout.
From there, Dort continued his fiery start, hitting a pair of 3-pointers for 11 points on perfect shooting. Gilgeous-Alexander saw a step-back three fall to extend OKC's lead.
Toronto would score consecutive buckets to end the quarter, including a Scottie Barnes triple, to cut the lead. Barnes would lead all Raptors with 5 points.
