Top Performers From Oklahoma City's Season Finale Win Over Memphis

In this story:
Oklahoma City and Memphis played an unrecognizable season finale on Sunday afternoon, with the Thunder coming away with a 115-100. Both teams rested key players, as the Thunder and Grizzlies were both locked into their respective postseason slots, with no wiggle room up or down. It was a development game for both squads.
With the Pelicans victory over the Timberwolves, Oklahoma City's Wednesday night showdown is set. The Thunder will play in New Orleans in the NBA's play-in tournament.
The Thunder's starting five received much needed rest after a flurry of games to end the season. After missing yesterday's game, players like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will be getting five days off, which could help immensely in the play-in game.
Oklahoma City was torched by Memphis' Kenny Lofton Jr., who also had a massive performance when the two teams met during Summer League. Lofton recorded a wild stat line of 42 points and 14 rebounds, finishing the afternoon 17-of-25 from the floor.
The Thunder had an answer, however, as four starters poured in over 20 points each. Here's who led OKC to victory on Sunday:
Jared Butler
After signing a two-way contract with the Thunder, Butler has played primarily with the OKC Blue. In call-up action on Sunday, though, his potential was on display.
The point guard from Baylor tallied a career-high 25 points on 10-of-21 from the floor and 5-of-9 from 3-point range. He added four assists and three rebounds in a taxing 45:37 minutes on the floor. Butler's quick release from long distance was on display against the Grizzlies.
Tre Mann
Mann's monster Sunday afternoon brought a smile to Thunder fans everywhere. After struggling for a large part of the season, the microwave guard saved his best performance for the last game of the season.
The Florida product recorded his first career triple-double, contributing 24 points, 12 assists and 12 rebounds in the 15-point win. Mann was 9-of-16 from the floor and added a triple to go along with two steals on the other end of the floor. He ran the offense when needed and recovered from three early turnovers in a big way. If Mann can provide any minutes off the bench for the Thunder in the play-in, it could be a real boost for the offense.
Olivier Sarr
Oklahoma City's backup big man showed up in a big way for the shorthanded Thunder. He played 42 total minutes on the night, pouring in 22 points and 15 rebounds. Sarr shot an impressive 10-of-15 from the floor and fouled out late in the fourth quarter. He was a plus-14 on the game and was Oklahoma City's biggest rebounding threat on the floor.
Ousmane Dieng
The Thunder lottery pick looked right at home Sunday afternoon. It was an impressive performance for one of the NBA's youngest players. Dieng stuffed the stat sheet, adding 22 points, nine assists and eight rebounds in 45 minutes of action. The rookie was 8-of-15 from the floor and 2-of-8 from 3-point range.
Dieng was a plus-11 on the afternoon, adding a block and a steal on the defensive end, too. It has been a slow season of progression for Oklahoma City's lottery pick, but the reward at the end of his development could certainly be worth it. Performances like Sunday's are quite the reminder.
