Anthony Edwards questionable, Monte Morris out Friday against Cavs

Morris has averaged 5.3 points and 2.9 assists in 15.7 minutes-per-game since joining the Wolves at the trade deadline

The Wolves will be without backup point guard Monte Morris Friday night in Cleveland, while Anthony Edwards is listed as questionable after his heroics against the Pacers.

Morris will miss Friday night's nationally televised game due to hamstring soreness as Minnesota take on the Cavs in the second night of a back-to-back, coming off a 113-111 win in Indiana Thursday night.

Edwards is listed as questionable with ankle soreness. Edwards turned his ankle just 26 seconds into Thursday's game but ended up leading the Wolves with 44 points in 38 minutes of game time.

He then had the ridiculous game clinching block that saw his head and arm smack off the backboard as he denied Aaron Nesmith.

Since joining the Wolves at the trade deadline, Morris has averaged 5.3 points and 2.9 assists in 15.7 minutes-per-game.

Tip off is set for 6:30 p.m. between the Wolves and Cavaliers. Minnesota currently sit a half-game ahead a the top of the Western Conference while the Cavs are a half-game back of the Bucks for second-place in the Eastern Conference.

The Cavs will be without star guard Donovan Mitchell, who has missed the team's previous four games due to a knee injury.
