Indianapolis Colts place fullback Stanley Havili on PUP list

Thursday July 24th, 2014

The Indianapolis Colts have placed fullback Stanley Havili on the physically unable to perform list, Indianapolis head coach Chuck Pagano told reporters.

Havili injured his shoulder in the Colts' playoff loss to the Patriots in January.

With Havili out, Pagano said third-year linebacker Mario Harvey is the team's No. 1 fullback.

The Colts acquired Havili in a trade with the Eagles prior to last season. In exchange, Indianapolis sent defensive end Clifton Geathers to Philadelphia.

Two other Colts with injury concerns — Reggie Wayne and Vick Ballard — were cleared to practice when they reported to camp Wednesday.

Havili can come off the PUP list at any time, but if he remains on the list at the start of the regular season, he must sit out his team's first six games.
