Reggie Wayne showed up for Indianapolis Colts camp in an Indy car on Wednesday in a nod to the region's motorsports history.

Wayne is probably itching for some speed, having just been cleared for camp after being sidelined last October by a torn ACL.

The 35-year old wide receiver has made it a tradition to show up to the colts pre-season workouts first day in style, arriving last season in a helicopter, and showing up in a military convoy the season before.

For any Colts fans worried about their star receivers safety, two-time Indy 500 pole winner Ed Carpenter was handling the driving duties in the two seat model.
