When the Giants take the field against the Colts on Monday night, New York defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul says it will be as important as a playoff game.

"This is like the playoffs for us," Pierre-Paul said, according to Newsday. "We gotta win, basically. We gotta win ... [the playoffs] have started."

At 3-4, the Giants are currently in ninth place in the NFC, and third in their division. The Packers currently hold the sixth and final playoff spot in the conference, with the 49ers, Seahawks and Giants behind them.

Giants' Jason Pierre-Paul: 'Don't count us out yet'

Giants linebacker Jameel McClain echoed Pierre-Paul's sentiments.

"Nine weeks of focus, nine weeks for a season, nine weeks of passion, all of those things," McClain said, according to Newsday. "We get a chance to show the world who we are, how we finish, and it's a great opportunity for this team to prevail. My mentality is nine weeks to win."

The Giants play their next four games against teams with winning records. Four of their last five opponents are currently below .500.
