The injury bug just continues to bite the key players of the San Francisco 49ers. Fullback Kyle Juszczyk suffered an MCL sprain in Monday nights 31-3 victory over the Cleveland Browns and is expected to miss the next four-to-six weeks of action. His absence is a sizeable loss to the offense because he does everything for the 49ers.

Juszczyk is easily the second best offensive player on the red and gold after George Kittle. To call him a swiss army just feels like an understatement because he his much more lethal. His blocking, rushing and receiving impacts the offense to another level. He showed that against the Browns by doing so in every facet.

The first play of the game that led to Matt Breida's 83 yard scamper was because of the critical block that Kyle Juszczyk laid on Olivier Vernon. The guy is redefining what it means to be a fullback and is showing why the position still has value. Only the New England Patriots hold the fullback position so highly.

Juszczyk's impact on the offense is well noted and he will be severely missed this Sunday when the 49ers take on the Rams in Los Angeles. However, other than that critical divisional matchup the 49ers should be okay without him after that. The following opponents will be against the Redskins, Panthers and the Cardinals.

Those are teams that should not cause much worry or concern over. By that time it will have been four weeks, so there should be some clarity on his injury. The only question now is how do the 49ers try to replace what Kyle Juszczyk did for the offense?

Well they don't because he is such a unique player. The only way to get over his loss is by adjusting, as in passing will now be more of a focal point. It'll be on Jimmy Garoppolo to step up and start to carry a heavier load on the offense since he hasn't really had to shoulder the burden. This Sunday against the Rams will be a critical matchup for the 49ers and without Kyle Juszczyk it just got a lot more difficult.
