The Bears face the biggest deficit they've ever had under Matt Nagy, 17-0 at halftime. They've been totally dominated in every aspect of the game by a team that looks well prepared mentally and physically. Meanwhile, the Bears look lost.

We're back on here in the second half after a disaster first half.

Third quarter: More Raiders dominance.

  • .
  • Anthony Miller drops an easy third-down catch for a first down. Miller has done nothing this year and remains in his funk.
  • This is what happens when a team never establishes a running attack on offense. The Bears haven't done it in five games.
  • Khalil Mack with the first break of the day for Bears when Raiders screw up a toss. Mack comes up with it when everyone on the Bears roster couldn't come up with the loose ball at Oakland 14.
  • David Montgomery gets in for his second touchdown of the year after a dumb Raider turnover and even worse pass interference penalty.
  • Deon Bush, one of Chuck Pagano's favorite players, saves a first down after getting beat in coverage by Darren Waller. Bears didn't realize, it seems, that Waller plays more like a wide receiver than a tight end.
  • Chase Daniel 3-yard scramble showed Bears QBs have suddenly remembered its legal for a QB to run. Trubisky seemed to forget that this year.
  • Raiders should have asked to look at the replay on the incomplete pass in the backfield. Looked like a lateral
  • Miller time. He finally makes a play for 32 yards on third-and-two. Jump ball prayer. Chase missed Trey Burton wide open for the first down first, then heaved it up and got lucky.
  • Touchdown pass to A-Rob on boot action but Javon Wims was injured on the play. Bears down 17-14. First A-Rob TD this season.
  • Looks like Eddy Pineiro was injured on the extra point, maybe hit late? Another dirty Raiders play? Ghost of Al Davis era live.
  • Carr yelling at teammates. That's exactly what the  Bears want to see.
  • Officials missed obvious facemask on 71-yard punt return by Tarik Cohen.
  • Another A-Rob touchdown but a celebration penalty for taunting on Anthony Miller. Now the kickoff will be from deep in Bears territory. 21-17 Bears. Perhaps the defense might show up now?
  • Bears kick coverage allows Raiders back to midfield and then adds a penalty. Raiders back in business in Bears territory. Bears are being aggressive on defense against the run and leaving themselves exposed against the pass.
  • Bears 21, Raiders 13 after 3.

Fourth quarter:   Sherrick McManis punches the ball out inches away. An actual Peanut punch and it worked. Leave it to Sherrick McManis, the only holdover from when Peanut Tillman actually played.

  • Another Charles Leno penalty looms large on third down with a false start.
  • Replay challenge and the first look seems that Allen Robinson did catch the long pass and get two feet in miraculously, as officials ruled on the field. Jon Gruden quick to challenge but that looks like a bad challenge.
  • Charles Leno back to the holding. Now has four on the season.
  • Allen Robinson this week was telling how he does that toe tap along the sidelines that got him the third-down catch. It's instinctive, he said, even though he works on it constantly.
  • Raiders dumb history with penalties surfacing again. Daniel was driven into the ground, which is an obvious call. And it negates an interception. First down for the Bears after they were heading to be backed up in third-and-long.
  • Cordarrelle Patterson gets down under a Pat O'Donnell punt at the 2. Good execution by both guys. O'Donnell usually has trouble getting it inside the 5 and is a 20 to 10 guy. But in the last year he's become more adept at pinning them back.
  • Bears looked to be confused up front but still stopped the Raiders on third down pass and getting the ball back with six minutes left.
  • Kevin Pierre-Louis penalty gives Raiders another chance to punt, wipes out Tarik Cohen return and lets Raiders run a fake punt for a first down.
  • Bears all went after Darren Waller on third down pass and left the other tight end wide open. Raiders at Bears 36.
  • Raiders go 97 yards for the go-ahead touchdown after a running-into-the-kicker penalty gave them the chance to fake a punt and extend the drive. Bears defense gives up the lead like it did against Denver in the fourth quarter. First time someone got more than 16 points against them since the Giants did it last year in New Jersey. Raiders 24, Bears 21
  • 17 yard catch by Allen Robinson on first down puts them at the 42.
  • Bears across midfield but have second-and-10 with 1 1/2 minutes remaining
  • Raiders get the clinching interception of Daninel.  Looked like a mixup between him and Anthony Miller. But even if Miller was supposed to be deep, there was no opening down there. Should have thrown it elsewhere.
  • Bears lose 24-21 in a game they didn't deserve to win.
