Bears tight end Cole Kmet went through a limited practice on Thursday due to a quad injury.

Kmet has never missed a game since coming to the team in the 2020 draft. His absence would be a big blow to the offense Sunday because his run blocking on the edge could be a vital component in attacking the 31st-ranked run defense of Arizona.

Starting left guard Teven Jenkins remains in the concussion protocol and missing practice.

The Bears did get defensive end DeMarcus Walker back for a full practice on Thursday after he had missed Wednesday's practice with a leg injury.

A few other players were able to increase their participation after missing some practice time Wednesday. Running back Travis Homer was limited with a hamstring injury after he didn't practice on Wednesday. Wide receiver Darnell Mooney was back at practice after he was ill and didn't practice Wednesday.

Also, cornerback Jaylon Jones practiced on a limited basis after he missed Wednesday's practice.

Noah Sewell (knee), Equanimeous St. Brown (pectoral), tight end Marcedes Lewis (rest) and running back D'Onta Foreman (personal) were held out of Thursday's practice.

For the Cardinals, wide receiver Marquise Brown (heel) missed a second straight day of practices, as did cornerback Garrett Williams (knee), linebacker Victor Dimukeje (foot) and wide receiver Greg Dortch (shoulder).
