The Line: Raiders by 3 (over/under 37 1/2)

The Matchup: The Bears host the Raiders, most likely with undrafted rookie QB Tyson Bagent at quarterback because of a dislocated thumb suffered by QB Justin Fields. The Raiders have QB injury problems of their own as Jimmy Garoppolo has a back injury and his status is uncertain.

The Series: The 17th meeting. Series is tied 8-8 and the Bears own a 4-3 lead at Soldier Field and have won the last three games there against the Raiders.

The Coaches: Matt Eberflus is 4-19 in his second season and has never faced the Raiders. Raiders coach Josh McDaniels is 9-14 in his second season with Las Vegas and 20-31 overall as an NFL head coach. He has never faced the Bears.

Last Week:  Daniel Carlson kicked four field goals, Maxx Crosby and Bilal Nichols combined on a safety and Garoppolo threw a 12-yard TD to Josh Meyers as the Raiders held off New England 21-17. The Bears attempted to establish their first winning streak since 2021 but lost 19-13 as Bagent staged a rally with a 1-yard TD drive but then threw an interception in the closing two minutes to seal the defeat. 

Notable:  Raiders WR Davante Adams needs two double-digit reception games to achieve 24 for his career, which would be the most in NFL history. ... DE Maxx Crosby has 5 1/2 sacks and needs six more to hit 49 for his career, which would give him the most by any Raiders defensive player for their first five seasons. Crosby has eight tackles for loss and 73 for his career, most by any Raiders defender for their first five seasons. 

Bears receiver DJ Moore has caught 76.2% of his targets. His career high is 67.1% as a rookie in 2018. He is fifth in the NFL in receiving yards with 582. ... He has completed 64.15% with five TDs, two interceptions, and a passer rating of 92.2 in his last three games. ... TE Cole Kmet has a 78.1% reception percentage, highest of his career (72.5%, 2022). He has 10 TD receptions in his last 16 games. ... LB T.J. Edwards has 70 tackles, second most in the league and seven behind Colts LB Zaire Franklin.  ... Kicker Cairo Santos has made 13 straight field goals, the last loss coming on a block against Green Bay in 2022.
