The Bears will have return man/receiver Velus Jones Jr. active Monday night after two straight games inactive.

Jones was active last against New Orleans when he fell to the ground on a long pass in the end zone and dropped it after it landed in his lap, and later had a face-masking penalty while covering a punt late in the fourth quarter of a one-score game.

Bears inactives for the game include injured cornerback Tyrique Stevenson (ankle) and running back D'Onta Foreman (ankle). Also inactive are tackle Larry Borom (illness), quarterback Nathan Peterman, safety Quindell Johnson and defensive end Dominique Robinson.

Linebacker DeMarquis Gates and defensive back Christian Matthew were elevated to the 53-man roster through standard elevation for the game.

Vikings inactives include cornerback Akayleb Evans, tight end Nick Muse, offensive lineman Chris Reed, offensive lineman Hakeem Adeniji and quarterback Jaren Hall.

As was reported earlier Monday, injured wide receiver Justin Jefferson remained on injured reserve with the window open for his return so he is not active.
