Kyler Gordon Now Officially Over Hand Injury

In this story:
As expected, cornerback Kyler Gordon was activated Saturday from injured reserve for Sunday's Bears game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Gordon has recovered from the broken hand he suffered in the opener and ensuing surgery.
However, not everyone eligible is coming off injured reserve right now.
Reserve center Doug Kramer also was eligible to come off IR after a thumb injury and the Bears did npt activate him. His window for being activated lasts two more week.
The Bears might not activate Kramer now because center/guard Lucas Patrick apparently has recovered from his concussion.
Patrick practiced on Friday after going in the concussion protocol at the Oct. 5 win over Washington. On Friday, Eberflus had said Patrick was close to being out of the protocol.
"There’s several hurdles you have to clear," Eberflus said. "He has to clear one more and once he does that we’ll be able to assess where we are in terms of our depth."
Whether Patrick returns to the lineup or Cody Whitehair goes to the bench remains to be seen. They also could put left guard Teven Jenkins on the bench, although this seems unlikely after he just returned to the field from calf injuries last week to play part of the game.
"He really performed well last week and he performed very well in practice this week as well," Eberflus said of Jenkins.
As for Gordon, it means the Bears have their first-team slot cornerback available for the first time since the opener.
"Obviously that nickel spot is a big spot for us and he's done a good job with that," Eberflus said. "A lot of things in there to do, and he does 'em well.
"He’s done a good job all week with that. He’s a real positive guy so it’s always great to have his energy out there as well. He certainly brings that passion."
It means Greg Stroman returns to the bench and special teams duties. Stroman had an interception and a sack last week.
