The Series: The 207th overall meeting, 205th in the regular season in the NFL's most-played series. Green Bay leads 104-94-6 in the regular season, 105-95-6 overall. The Packers have won eight straight and 13 of the last 14.

The Line: Bears by 1 (over/under 43).

The Coaches: Packers coach Matt LaFleur is 47-19 in his fifth season, including 8-0 against the Bears. Bears coach Matt Eberflus is 3-14 in his second season and 0-2 against Green Bay.

The Matchup: Green Bay starts a different quarterback against the Bears than Aaron Rodgers for only the second time since 2008. In 2017 they started Brett Hundley for one game due to injury. The Bears begin the season with different players at six starting positions on defense—DE Yannick Ngakoue, NT Andrew Billings, DE DeMarcus Walker, MLB Tremaine Edmunds, WLB T.J. Edwards, LCB Tyrique Stevenson and seven counting strongside LB where former middle linebacker starter Jack Sanborn now lines up. The offense has four new starters in WR DJ Moore, C Lucas Patrick, RG Nate Davis and RT Darnell Wright. For Green Bay, S Rudy Ford is a new starter while LB Kingsley Enagbare and CB Keisean Nixon both were part-time starters last year and now will start. WR Jayden Reed and TE Luke Musgrave are new on offense. The five Packers offensive linemen are new, although not all five played the same position in the past.

Notable: Fields is 0-4 in four starts against Green Bay with a 70.75 passer rating on 61 of 96 for 722 yards with three touchdowns and six interceptions. He has run 28 times for 208 yards and two TDs. ... When facing the Packers in the month of September, the Bears own a 24-29-4 record, including 8-11 in season openers. ... When Aaron Rodgers did not start from 2008-22, the Packers had a record of 6 wins, 12 losses and 1 tie. ... Love lost his only NFL start in 2021 against Kansas City, 13-7. For his career, Love is 50 of 83 (60.2%) for three TDs with three interceptions and a passer rating of 79.7.
