Zac Taylor on 2023 Bengals Staff: 'Special Group of Coaches'

CINCINNATI — Bengals head coach Zac Taylor took some time this week to praise a "special" coaching staff he's leading into the 2023 season.

Cincinnati was fortunate to retain both coordinators (Lou Anarumo and Brian Callahan) for a fifth consecutive season.

"A special group of coaches," Taylor said. "You all may know all of them in great detail, some others maybe not. But I really think that you're gonna look down the line and see special things that these guys have done and so there's a lot of trust on my end to just let them go coach their guys and have ideas in their areas and let's utilize them in games. And when you get suggestions in games, get into those. Part of it's we've been together forever, part of it is they're here for a reason, they are really good coaches. And so I have been on a lot of great staffs I think this is a really special group as a whole."

Cincinnati is entering the final year of Joe Burrow's rookie deal before his fifth-year option and has the aforementioned coaching continuity to cement its status as one of the league's top contenders.
