It was a long week for Stephen Hauschka.

The veteran kicker missed two field goals last week - including a potential game-tying chance - in Buffalo's 19-16 loss to Cleveland.

He redeemed himself right away in the Bills 37-20 win over the Dolphins.

On Buffalo's first snap against Miami, Devin Singletary ripped off a 22 yard run that set the Bills up for their first score of the game.

On third down, Josh Allen was unable to connect with Cole Beasley and Hauschka's unit took the field.

He hit a 51 yard field goal to give the Bills a lead they didn't relinquish the rest of the afternoon. It was the first time this season Hauschka connected on a field goal longer than 50 yards.

The Bills second drive was stalled again, this time from 15 yards out. Hauschka headed back to the field and kicked a 34 yard field goal, giving the Bills a 6-0 lead to end the first quarter.

In the second quarter, Allen's offense was able to get things rolling.

After a week of questioning his confidence to throw a deep pass, the second-year quarterback hit John Brown with a 40 yard bomb for a touchdown.

On the Bills next possession, Allen used his legs - faking out the Miami defense for a 36 yard run.

To end the drive, Hauschka was once again called upon - his third field goal of the half was good from 21 yards - he would end up scoring 13 of the Bills 37 points against the Dolphins.

Allen also shined in the win - and continued his streak of playing mistake free football. It marked his fifth straight game without throwing an interception.

He finished the day with 256 yards passing and threw for three touchdowns - two to Brown and a 23 yard strike to tight end Dawson Knox that put the Bills up 23-7 right before halftime.

That two-possession lead didn't stand long. On the ensuing kick off, Jakeem Grant returned the ball 101 yards to tighten up the score to 23-14 at the break.

That's as close as Miami would get all day. On the Bills first possession of the second half, Allen ran in another score - his seventh of the season - which leads all NFL quarterbacks.

The Bills defense did their part, too. After weeks of scrutiny about their run defense, the Dolphins were held to just 23 yards rushing.

They also sacked Miami quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick seven times.

The win has the Bills improve to 7-3, their best record through 10 games since 1999. Next, they host the Broncos who fell to 3-7 this week after a 27-23 loss to Minnesota.
