BREAKING: Buffalo Bills Fire Coach Ken Dorsey

The Buffalo Bills have fired offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey after another subpar offensive performance in their 24-22 loss to the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football.

Changes are finally underway for the Buffalo Bills.

Bills offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey was fired by the team on Tuesday after their 24-22 loss to the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football at Highmark Stadium per NFL insider Adam Schefter.

Joe Brady will take over as the interim offensive coordinator. Brady was the Bills' quarterback coach and has experience from his time as the Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator.

Buffalo turned the ball over four times with two fumbles and two interceptions. Josh Allen completed 15 of 26 passes for 177 yards with a passing and a rushing touchdown. He also threw two interceptions and lost a fumble.

James Cook was responsible for the other turnover with a fumble on the first play of the game.

Ken Dorsey was in his second season as the Bills' offensive coordinator.

Ken Dorsey was in his second season as the Bills' offensive coordinator.

Dorsey getting fired isn't a surprise even with the public support from head coach Sean McDermott. The lack of balance and Allen's increase in turnovers since Dorsey was handed the reins in 2022 was bound to cost someone their job at some point, and the former offensive coordinator became the scapegoat.

The offense has been up and down throughout the season. Outside of a three-game outburst where they scored 37, 38 and 48 points, Allen and Co. have struggled to find their stride.

The Bills offense has been at its best when they've had balance, but the inability to stick with the run has made them one-dimensional and that has proven costly in recent weeks. Buffalo was averaging 8.42 yards per carry with Cook and Latavius Murray against the Broncos, yet they only ran the ball 21 times with them.

At 5-5 with a brutal schedule to close out the season, the Bills' offense needs to find its stride immediately. If Allen and Brady can't get the offense going, this could end up being a lost season for a team that was once seen as a Super Bowl favorite this year.
