Bills vs. Jets: Aaron Rodgers Reveals Super Bowl LVIII Prediction

New York Jets' quarterback Aaron Rodgers has a Super Bowl formula. Are the Buffalo Bills part of his equation?

Aaron Rodgers hasn't won a Super Bowl since the 2010 season. The Buffalo Bills have won the last three AFC East titles.

Put those together and ... why exactly does the four-time MVP quarterback like the New York Jets' chances of not only leap-frogging the Bills in the division but also winding up in Las Vegas in February for Super Bowl LVIII?

“There's a part of that is speaking things into existence, the idea of a manifestation,” Rodgers said this week. “The other part is a realistic look at the locker room, knowing that there's anywhere from 6 to 12 teams every year that can probably do it and we're one of those 6 to 12.”

Certainly the Bills are one of Rodgers' "6 to 12" teams, and the first step in getting a better handle on his prediction comes Monday night when the Jets host Buffalo in a highly anticipated, prime-time showdown in MetLife Stadium.

While the Bills have made the playoffs in five of the last six seasons and made it to the AFC Championship Game in 2020, the Jets haven't made the postseason since 2010 ... a drought of 12 long years.

There is a method - and simple math - to Rodgers' prediction madness. Since 14 teams make the playoffs each year, his "12" number would only eliminate two.

Rodgers is 2-2 all-time against the Bills, including last season's 27-17 loss in Buffalo while with the Green Bay Packers.

The Bills and Jets will clash in the Monday Night Football opener on Monday at 8:15 p.m. ET at MetLife Stadium.
