Bills Looking For Snow Shovelers With Inclement Weather Looming

The Buffalo Bills are preparing for the cold ahead of Sunday's playoff showdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

With a snow storm brewing, Highmark Stadium may resemble a winter wonderland when the Buffalo Bills host the Pittsburgh Steelers in Sunday's Wild Card game.

While the game will remain in Buffalo, contrary to some previous reports, the Bills will need some help to get the venue ready for game time. On Friday afternoon, the Bills put out a call on social media asking for snow shovelers to help clear the field.

According to the announcement, those looking to help can start shoveling at 10 p.m. ET on Saturday night and can work into Sunday morning if they so choose. The rate of pay is $20 an hour with food and breaks provided in designated warm areas.

Prospective shovelers are advised to dress for the cold and bring their own shovels, and required to bring proper identification in order to work.

Per Accuweather's forecast, temperature at kickoff time is projected to be 22 degrees Fahrenheit with snow, and that's not even mentioning the storm that's already affecting the area. The state of New York has already declared a state of emergency, and the city of Buffalo has closed off its waterfront parks due to strong winds.

The Bills and Steelers will kick off at 1 p.m. ET from Highmark Stadium in what will probably be both teams' coldest game of the season.
