Bills New Battering Rams: Von Miller Approves of Leonard Floyd Signing

Von Miller believes that the Buffalo Bills' latest arrival gives Western New York one of the best defensive attacks in the NFL.

A California dream has become an AFC East nightmare.

The Buffalo Bills have united a championship California couple upon the signing of Leonard Floyd, as he joins fellow Super Bowl LVI winner Von Miller. A pair of first-round defensive choices, Miller and Floyd donned blue and yellow to guide the Los Angeles Rams to a Vince Lombardi Trophy hoist on their home turf of SoFi Stadium.

Well-versed in what Floyd can bring to a defense, Miller believes it's a game-changer when it comes to the Bills' endeavor of breaking through to a Big Game on their own.

"He's a high-energy guy, he's going to lay out for plays, he's a wrecking ball in there," Miller said at his pass rush summit, per Buffalo News. "When I heard the possibility of Leonard Floyd coming to the team, I was all on board. I played in LA with Leonard. I'm super excited to have him (here). Him matched up with Greg Rousseau, Boogie Basham, and AJ (Epenesa), we have one of the best defensive line rooms in the National Football League for sure."

During their relatively brief tenure in Southern California together, Miller and Floyd united for 19 tackles for a loss and 14.5 sacks. Their previous collaboration likely helped seal the deal: Bills general manager Brandon Beane said that asking for Miller's input was a no-brainer during an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show."

"Once we started talking with Leonard and his people, I definitely checked in with Von to see his thoughts," Beane said. "He signed off, (he said Floyd) was a great guy who fits the culture."

Miller is set to rejoin the Bills after an injury prematurely ended his first season with the team last fall.
