3 reasons the Packers are a very beatable opponent for the Broncos

Are the odds-makers grossly overrating the Broncos' Week 3 opponent?

The odds-makers aren't giving the 0-2 Denver Broncos much of a chance in Week 3 vs. the 2-0 Green Bay Packers. But you know what they say.

Any given Sunday.

This is the NFL. Parity reigns supreme.

Contrary to the 'you are what your record says you are' ethos, the Broncos are a vastly better team than their record suggests. Even the NFL went so far as to almost admit the Broncos were robbed in the closing seconds of last week's 16-14 loss to the Chicago Bears, acknowledging to GM John Elway that the ref who threw that roughing-the-passer flag on Bradley Chubb with less than a minute to go, giving the opponent 15 desperately needed yards, was "dead wrong".

Had that official not given the Bears those yards, the final offensive play from scrimmage is about 15 yards shy of field goal range and Chicago has to call a hail mary with one second left on the clock. If 'if's and but's were candy and nuts, we all would eat our fill'.

That's not how the cookie crumbled and subsequently, the Broncos remain winless. But despite being 7.5-point underdogs heading into Green Bay, that could change in Week 3.

Analyzing this Packers team — its strengths and weaknesses — they're more than beatable, even at Lambeau Field. In the video above, I lay out three vulnerabilities I've spotted that could lead to a massive upset and a soul-saving victory for this beleaguered Broncos squad.

Hit the play button above and then, you tell me. Do you concur that Green Bay is being grossly overrated by the odds-makers? Or am I up in the night? Sound off in the comment section below.
