7 promising Broncos who need more reps

Throughout the Denver Broncos' three preseason games, some players have really stood out against the level of competition they've faced and could be tested by moving up and seeing reps against tougher opponents.
Doing that would give the Broncos a better idea as to where that player's at in his development.
Not all of the following players fall into that category, as some could just use more reps at their position to get a better evaluation, or be tried out somewhere else to see what they have to offer there. There are seven players in particular that I identified that fall into the category of needing to see more reps.
John Leglue, OL
The last two games have seen some good growth from Leglue. While he has not been perfect, his technique has been good and he has done a good job controlling his opponents.
Is that a result of just playing against fourth-string defensive linemen, though? It would be nice to see him get some reps against second and third-unit guys, especially with Sam Jones struggling like he has. Leglue's time has come at right guard, so I would be curious to see what he could do at tackle as well.
DeShawn Williams, DL
Last preseason, Williams flashed dominance on the defensive line. This year, he hasn’t been close to that, but he has been more consistent, especially against the run.
With him and DeMarcus Walker in a battle, it would be nice to see what Williams can do against tougher offensive linemen and see whether he falters. That could be a huge factor in deciding the winner here.
Jake Rodgers, OL:
The right tackle has been better than top backup tackle Elijah Wilkinson the last two weeks, and has only been getting time at right tackle. He has faced some of the same competition as Wilkinson as well.
I would be curious to see whether Rodgers can hold his own at left tackle and potentially be a backup swing tackle for the Broncos.
Trinity Benson, WR

He hasn’t dominated defenses as a speedy receiver, though he has been hard to handle, despite the few in-game receptions. What I would like to see with Benson is him get some time as a returner.
The speed is clear, and who knows what he could do as a returner? Denver needs to find that guy, and maybe he is right under their nose. Denver won’t know until Benson is given a chance.
Nick Williams, WR
With what few chances Williams has received, he has looked solid. He's able to find the soft spot in zone coverage and come away with the ball. There have also been a few chances as a returner.
It would be awesome to see him get a few more opportunities, but the Broncos have so many receivers, there is an issue getting them all on the field. Still, Williams and the other two on this list have shown more than the others that are on the roster, who aren’t in the top-5 of the position.
Kelvin McKnight, WR
He has gotten a shot as a returner and hasn't looked great, and the same as a receiver. The few chances he's gotten, though, don’t seem like they have been enough to get a good evaluation on the player he is.
Seeing a few more reps for McKnight would help answer that, as well as whether he is worth keeping around.
Horace Richardson, CB
A strong Hall of Fame Game really saw Richardson step into the light. Since then, he hasn’t been as easy to pick out and missed the game against the Niners with a back injury.
If he is able to recover in time, it’d be awesome to see him get reps against tougher competition. Was his one game a result of playing lesser competition, or is he a serious player?
UPDATE: Richardson was placed on injured reserve on Wednesday, as he has battled a back injury.
